Begin your small-group, full-day trip with pickup from your accommodation in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or 4×4. Leaving the city of Marrakech and heading in the direction of the High Atlas for about an hour, you can enjoy the vast green and lush lowlands known as Ourika Valley. Then continue the drive along the river to the village of Sitti Fadma. Along the way, you can stop at a Berber women’s cooperative for argan oil extraction (a unique Moroccan oil).

Sitti Fadma is a good starting point for a pleasant hike on foot with a professional local mountain guide for about an hour towards the waterfall. On the way back, enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan tea along the river before continuing your ride to the valley of Sidi Fares.

Proceed to a second valley called Okumeda and follow a secluded mountain road. Altitude is about 1800 meters. The views from the top of the Atlas Mountains are breathtaking, especially during the snowy winter months. Many traditional local natives pass through his area.
